Prayer for schools

Eternal God Bless all schools, colleges, and universities, especially St. Mary, St. John the Baptist, St. Michael the Archangel and St. Mary Catholic Central High School, that they may be lively centers for sound learning, new discovery, and the pursuit of wisdom; and grant that those who teach and those who learn may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord,

Amen

Work of the Monroe Catholic
Schools Commission completed!

June 2010

From the Pastors and Principals of St. John the Baptist, St. Mary
and St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Schools

We established the Monroe Catholic Schools Commission to research the effective stewardship of our shared resources as we provide quality Catholic Education for the students in our schools. The Commission conducted surveys of school staff, parents, and parish members. They have presented the pastors and principals with the results. They have submitted other suggestions and ideas for the most effective stewardship of our resources. The work charged to the Commission has been completed. We thank them for their hard work and wisdom.

Although we have learned a lot in this process, no decisions have been made about the best way to proceed. The pastors and the principals will continue to meet with staff from the Archdiocesan Education Department to review the Commission’s findings. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and maintaining the highest standards to ensure the best formation in faith and knowledge of the next generation of Disciples in the City of Monroe.

Below are the individual results of this survey from the individual parishes as
well as the combined parish results as mentioned in the above letter.
